Jack and Anita Bike Seat Building Adventure

Start Here: Jack’s Prototype Journey

From Sketch to Seat

Jack and Anita, husband and wife, on an outdoor adventure

Jack and Anita on one of their many outdoor adventures.

Welcome. I’m Jack. Anita, my wife and soul mate, and I would like to share our story of how a simple sketch turned into a bike seat that allows you to adjust the width in seconds so you can ride longer with less pain. If you’re a shop owner, a rider, or just curious how a prototype becomes a real product, you’re in the right place.

How to read this series

Each post is short and written in real time: what we tested, what broke, what we fixed, and what we learned. I’ll keep adding parts as we test, ride, and build. Thanks for taking the time to join the ride; I hope the ups and downs of building a better bike seat are as interesting for you as they’ve been for us. Settle in, skim a few entries, and check back anytime—we’ll keep the updates coming as the miles (and lessons) add up.
